Situated in the delightful village of Blisland, with it’s old granite cottages, church (and Pub) nestling around the village green, Torr House Cottages offer 4 star accommodation in a quiet, away-from-it-all location, yet less than 30 minutes from outstanding sandy beaches, glorious coast paths and world famous visitor attractions! Both cottages are set in over two acres of peaceful, private gardens with wonderful, distant views stretching for miles, making them the perfect place to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer! Blisland is unique and timeless and attracts people from far and wide. Regarded by many as the prettiest village in Cornwall and close to the western edge of the Moor, it offers some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery anywhere. Wild ponies graze side by side with sheep and cattle on the yellow gorse-covered Moor and views to Rough Tor and Brown Willy stretch for miles. From here you can go walking, fishing and horse riding or simply watch the ever-changing sunsets from Jubilee Rock!

Appletree is the smaller of the two cottages – cosy & compact, yet very comfortable and with the most wonderful views. It is accessed by stone steps from the original Barn and sleeps up to 4 people. There are two bedrooms-one double and one twin, and a lounge area with two sofas and a very well equipped kitchen and dining area.
Hollyhock is exceptionally spacious and is accessible for wheelchair users. There is a large and comfortable lounge and a very well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) together with a large dining area. The cottage sleeps up to 6 and has three bedrooms-one double
with en-suite and two twin bedded rooms.

There are numerous attractions right on the doorstep whatever your interest. The Camel Trail is only a mile away and provides a wonderfully peaceful, dedicated track for cyclists and walkers.
It runs from the edge of the Moor all the way to the Atlantic at Padstow, following the Camel River as it passes through delightful wooded valleys until reaching the widening estuary

and the breathtaking views of Padstow and Rock. The entire trail is a haven for wild flowers (especially bluebells) and wildlife and is a must for bird watchers. Slightly further afield-but still close- are some of the great Houses and Gardens of the West Country such as Lanhydrock, Pencarrow & Prideaux Place as well as beauty spots such as Golitha Falls, Lerryn, Respryn and Cardinham Woods. Both North and South coasts are less than 30 minutes, away offering an endless choice of coastal paths, sandy beaches, sheltered harbours and fishing villages in places like Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, Fowey, Tintagel and Boscastle and many others. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan can be reached in half and hour too. What more could you want?
